Student in der Ecotrace-Gruppe (AG Trimborn) am Alfred-Wegener-Institut<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-theme-spacer  height-xxs\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Forschungsschwerpunkte<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ich interessiere mich f\u00fcr die Entstehung und das Verhalten von Diversit\u00e4t angefangen bei Molek\u00fclen (Chemodiversit\u00e4t) bis hin zu Organismen (Biodiversit\u00e4t). Mein derzeitiger Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Genomgr\u00f6\u00dfe und der Zellgr\u00f6\u00dfe von einzelligem Plankton innerhalb von Umweltbedingungen, die Kipppunkte in der Biodiversit\u00e4t bilden k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projekt innerhalb der HIPP-Kohorte (Ausschreibung 2025)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aus menschlicher Sicht sind einzellige Planktonorganismen extrem winzig, doch sie bilden die Grundlage aller Nahrungsnetze und des marinen Kohlenstoffkreislaufs. Aus der Perspektive der Planktonzellen erstrecken sie sich \u00fcber ein Gr\u00f6\u00dfenspektrum von kleinen Bakterien (&lt;2 \u00b5m) bis zu um ein Vielfaches gr\u00f6\u00dferen Kieselalgen (&lt;250 \u00b5m).
