{"id":16633,"date":"2025-10-14T13:22:20","date_gmt":"2025-10-14T11:22:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hifmb.de\/explore-the-cellular-origins-of-photosymbiosis\/"},"modified":"2025-11-04T10:21:44","modified_gmt":"2025-11-04T09:21:44","slug":"explore-the-cellular-origins-of-photosymbiosis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hifmb.de\/de\/explore-the-cellular-origins-of-photosymbiosis\/","title":{"rendered":"Erforsche die zellul\u00e4ren Urspr\u00fcnge der Photosymbiose"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Wir freuen uns, mehrere neue Stellenangebote in der Forschungsgruppe Photosymbiose am Helmholtz-Institut f\u00fcr Funktionelle Marine Biodiversit\u00e4t (HIFMB) bekannt zu geben.<\/strong> <br><strong>Diese Positionen sind Teil unseres neu gef\u00f6rderten ERC Starting Grant-Projekts &#8220;PhagoPhoRe &#8211; The interplay of symbiont nutrient release and host phagosome maturation in photosymbiosis regulation&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00dcber das Projekt<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Photosymbiosen, also Assoziationen zwischen heterotrophen Wirten und photosynthetischen Symbionten,  haben sich im Lauf der Evolution wiederholt und unabh\u00e4ngig voneinander entwickelt. Effizientes N\u00e4hrstoffrecycling erm\u00f6glicht es diesen Symbiosen, in n\u00e4hrstoffarmen (oligotrophen) Umgebungen zu gedeihen und macht sie zu wichtigen Komponenten globaler N\u00e4hrstoffkreisl\u00e4ufe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PhagoPhoRe nutzt ein Nesseltiere-Modelsystem, um die Mechanismen zu erkl\u00e4ren, die die Etablierung, Aufrechterhaltung und den Zusammenbruch von Photosymbiosen steuern. Wir untersuchen, wie Phagosomenreifung, intrazellul\u00e4rer Transport und metabolische R\u00fcckkopplungen des N\u00e4hrstoffrecycling und die Hom\u00f6ostase zwischen Wirt und Symbiont regulieren und wie diese Prozesse unter Umweltstress ver\u00e4ndert werden. Methodisch verbindet das Projekt Zellbiologie mit Metabolomik und hochaufl\u00f6sender Bildgebung, um den N\u00e4hrstoffaustausch, die Signal\u00fcbertragung und die subzellul\u00e4re Dynamik zu quantifizieren und so Prinzipien zu identifizieren, die sowohl f\u00fcr den evolution\u00e4ren Erfolg von Photosymbiosen als auch f\u00fcr ihren anhaltenden \u00f6kologischen Zusammenbruch verantwortlich sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Offene Positionen <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Wir suchen derzeit drei motivierte und neugierige Forschende, die unser wachsendes Team verst\u00e4rken m\u00f6chten:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.awi.de\/Vacancies\/2074\/Description\/2\">Postdoktorand:in \u2013 Zellul\u00e4re Dynamik der Photosymbiose<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bewerbungsfrist: <\/strong>29. Oktober 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diese Position konzentiert sich auf die molekularen Prozesse, die die Interaktionen zwischen Wirt und Symbiont auf <strong>Einzelzellebene <\/strong>regulieren. Die erfolgreiche Kandidat:in wird Einzelzell-Transkriptomik anwenden und weiterentwickeln, um Zellzust\u00e4nde und regulatorische Netzwerke zu kartieren &#8211; im Vergleich von Wirten mit funktionalen Algensymbionten versus inerten Partikeln, unter Kontroll- und Hitzestressbedingungen &#8211; und diese Daten mit physiologischen und bildgebenden Analysen verkn\u00fcpfen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.awi.de\/Vacancies\/2080\/Description\/2\">Doktorand:in &#8211; Metabolische Interaktionen in der Photosymbiose<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bewerbungsfrist: <\/strong>5. November 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dieses Promotionsprojekt untersucht den N\u00e4hrstoffaustausch und die metabolischen R\u00fcckkopplungen zwischen Wirt und Symbiont unter Verwendung von stabiler Isotopenmarkierung, NanoSIMS und Metabolomik. Die Arbeit wird aufdecken, wie metabolische Vernetzung die Etablierung und Stabilit\u00e4t der Photosymbiose unterst\u00fctzt und wie diese unter Umweltstress zusammenbrechen kann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.awi.de\/Vacancies\/2081\/Description\/2\">Doktorand:in &#8211; Zellul\u00e4re Signalprozesse in der Photosymbiose<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bewerbungsfrist: <\/strong>5. November 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dieses Promotionsprojekt konzentriert sich auf die zellul\u00e4ren Signal- und Immunprozesse, die die Aufrechterhaltung der Algensymbionten steuern. Die erfolgreiche Kandidat:in wird Fluoreszenzmikroskopie, Antik\u00f6rpermarkierungen und Proteomik\/Phosphoproteomik kombinieren, um Wirts-Signalwege zu identifizieren, die an Erkennung, Erhalt und Stressreaktion der Symbionten beteiligt sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Forschungsumgebung<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Alle Positionen sind am Helmholtz-Institut f\u00fcr Funktionelle Marine Biodiversit\u00e4t (HIFMB) angesiedelt \u2013 einem gemeinsamen Institut des Alfred-Wegener-Instituts (AWI) und der Universit\u00e4t Oldenburg.<br>Das HIFMB bietet ein lebendiges, internationales und interdisziplin\u00e4res Forschungsumfeld, das Meeres\u00f6kologie, Evolution und Datenwissenschaft verbindet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unsere Gruppe profitiert von:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hochmodernen <strong>Kultur- und Laboranlagen<\/strong> f\u00fcr die Haltung von Nesseltiere\u2013Algen-Modelsystemen (z.
