{"id":7664,"date":"2022-06-24T09:30:24","date_gmt":"2022-06-24T07:30:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hifmb.de\/transdisciplinary-research-for-ocean-sustainability\/"},"modified":"2022-08-10T10:55:16","modified_gmt":"2022-08-10T08:55:16","slug":"transdisciplinary-research-for-ocean-sustainability","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hifmb.de\/de\/transdisciplinary-research-for-ocean-sustainability\/","title":{"rendered":"Nachhaltige Netzwerke f\u00fcr marine Nachhaltigkeits-Forschung"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Meeresr\u00e4ume sind mehr denn je durch verschiedene Faktoren wie die Folgen des Klimawandels, \u00dcberfischung und geopolitische Konflikte bedroht.<strong> Innovative und mitgestaltete Forschungsans\u00e4tze sind unerl\u00e4sslich<\/strong>, um die Bedrohungen und ihre Auswirkungen zu verstehen und nachhaltige L\u00f6sungen zu finden. <strong>K\u00fcnftige innovative und erfolgreiche Forschung, die gemeinsam konzipiert und durchgef\u00fchrt wird, wird jedoch ohne nachhaltige und gut funktionierende Netzwerke nicht m\u00f6glich sein.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gemeinsam mit <strong>Forschern und Fachleuten des Belmont Forum CRA &#8220;Transdisciplinary Research for Ocean Sustainability&#8221;<\/strong> diskutierten wir auf dem Sustainability Research &amp; Innovation Congress 2022 (Pretoria, S\u00fcdafrika), was notwendig ist, um Netzwerke f\u00fcr die marine Nachhaltigkeitsforschung in Afrika zu schaffen, zu erhalten, zu st\u00e4rken und weiter zu entwickeln. Die Sitzung wurde vom Belmont Forum CRA Oceans Coordination Team (BMBF-gef\u00f6rdertes Projekt &#8220;SynCRAocean&#8221;) und der von der GIZ durchgef\u00fchrten Initiative African-German Partners for Ocean Knowledge &#8220;MeerWissen&#8221; (BMZ-gef\u00f6rdert) initiiert. Drei Projekte, ShipTrase, ARMSRestore und Exebus, bildeten den Rahmen f\u00fcr eine spannende Podiumsdiskussion. Unser Engagement in der Sitzung ist im obigen Bild k\u00fcnstlerisch dargestellt, das von Sonja Niederhumer durch die Teilnahme an der Sitzung selbst live entwickelt wurde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Folgenden werden einige wichtige Erkenntnisse aus den Vortr\u00e4gen und einige allgemeinere \u00dcberlegungen herausgegriffen. Shams Al Din Al Hajjaji (Projekt ShipTrase) betonte in einem rechtsvergleichenden Ansatz \u00fcber den rechtlichen Rahmen von &#8220;scrubbers&#8221;, einer Vorrichtung zur Luftreinhaltung auf Schiffen, die <strong>Bedeutung der Kommunikation und Zusammenarbeit mit zwischenstaatlichen und internationalen Akteuren<\/strong>. Das Projekt EXEBUS, das von Neville Sweijd vorgestellt wurde, untersucht die \u00f6kologischen und wirtschaftlichen Auswirkungen der Intensivierung extremer Winde im Benguela-Auftriebssystem auf den Hafen von Kapstadt.<strong> Offener Datenzugang und eine vertrauensvolle Zusammenarbeit <\/strong>mit afrikanischen staatlichen Organisationen, lokalen Interessengruppen und der wissenschaftlichen Gemeinschaft sind die Bausteine f\u00fcr solche multidimensionalen Projekte. In Madagaskar arbeiten einheimische Fischer, internationale Wissenschaftler und Nichtregierungsorganisationen zusammen, um den Lebensraum der Korallenriffe wiederherzustellen und die Fischerei zu f\u00f6rdern. Gildas Todinanahary vom ARMSRestore-Projekt wies darauf hin, dass das Erreichen gesunder Riff\u00f6kosysteme, die Steigerung der Fischereiertr\u00e4ge und die Verbesserung der menschlichen Gesundheit in hohem Ma\u00dfe von der<strong> rechtlichen und formellen Zusammenarbeit mit den lokalen Beh\u00f6rden abh\u00e4ngt.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Podiumsdiskussion, die von Bernadette Snow und Helmut Hillebrand (beide am MARISCO-Projekt beteiligt) moderiert wurde, verkn\u00fcpfte die <strong>Bedeutung nachhaltiger Netzwerke f\u00fcr die nachhaltige Meeresforschung in Afrika und dar\u00fcber hinaus mit der Notwendigkeit, die Finanzierungssysteme anzupassen. F\u00f6rderzeitr\u00e4ume m\u00fcssen die zeitintensive (!) Entwicklung neuer und innovativer Netzwerke sowie die Pflege und St\u00e4rkung bestehender Netzwerke erm\u00f6glichen.<\/strong> In der Diskussion kristallisierte sich au\u00dferdem heraus, dass die &#8220;niedrig h\u00e4ngenden Fr\u00fcchte&#8221; langj\u00e4hriger, gut etablierter Kollaborationen am besten geeignet sind, um Wirkung und Nachhaltigkeit bei transformativen Ver\u00e4nderungen zu erzeugen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-theme-seperator\"><div class=\"container\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dr. Kristin Tietje<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Wissenschaftliche Koordinatorin &#8220;SynCraOcean&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Marine spaces are more threatened than ever by various factors, such as the consequences of climate change, overfishing and geopolitical conflicts.
