Research Interests
Irene is now working at the Université du Québec en Outaouais, Canada, as a postdoctoral researcher. Her research focus is the assessment of the impact of underwater noise from commercial shipping on the abundance of belugas in the Saguenay using artificial intelligence, passive acoustics, drone imagery and mitigation track.
