Research Interests

My research explores photosymbioses in coral reef ecosystems, from cellular and molecular functioning to ecosystem-level impacts. Building on my ecophysiological work with photosymbiotic organisms such as sponges and corals, my PhD aims to understand the cellular mechanisms underlying the establishment and breakdown of these symbioses.
