Research Interests

I am a marine ecologist studying host-pathogen interactions and their relevance in marine ecosystems and the context of a growing seaweed aquaculture, climate change and increased maritime trafficking. My research focuses on marine macrophytes, primarily seaweeds and their associated parasites. I am also interested in process of domestication of seaweeds and its consequences in coastal ecosystems.
