The working group of Ecosystem Data Science transforms the areas of biodiversity assessment and ecosystem functions with internationally renowned expertise in data sciences.

This includes high-dimensional, multidisciplinary and complex data analysis including the development of bioinformatics tools, data integration, and visualization and includes different data types from molecular data [(meta-)omics] to spatially and temporally resolved observations – for example by remote sensing or geographical information. Concepts for data integration will be communicated with empirical and theoretical researchers.
